When did you join and how have you progressed?
I started with Freedom in July 2003 as an Operational Support Assistant. I did this role for just over 3 years before becoming a trainee Field Manager in January 2007, progressing up to being a fully fledged Field Manager in 2011.
Why did you choose to work at Freedom?
I jumped at the chance as the work and industry sounded interesting, with more prospects than I currently had. The company had long standing members and was like a family.
What training, development or qualifications have you received or achieved during your time with Freedom?
I received a comprehensive training programme which would include putting me through an ONC and HNC in construction and many other industry qualifications such as IOSH, Pasma. I am currently working towards my NEBOSH certificate so constant development is achieved, having just completed my SMSTS and Prince2.
What are you major successes and highlights from working with Freedom?
Major successes have come from being accepted in to a traditionally male environment and working my way through qualifications and challenges, having left school education with no qualifications. My main highlights are working with talented individuals gaining more insight in to the electrical industry.
What do you hope for in your future at Freedom?
I am hoping to progress into project management with Freedom as I am a driven individual with a will to succeed.
