When Central Networks had problems with the quality and reliability of their supply of electricity to a North East Derbyshire village, it was the franchise teams of Freedom who were called to the rescue.
Residents on a housing estate in Killamarsh, South of Rotherham, had suffered from a series of faults and interruptions to their supplies due to the condition of the electricity cables supplying the area.
The project proved to be a great success with the new cables installed and all residents connected within a 6 week period, with the promise of a safe and reliable electricity supply for many years to come.
The solution was to re-lay some 1000 metres of mains underground cable and make new connections to 87 homes and 30 street lamps.
The project proved to be a great success with the new cables installed and all residents connected within a 6 week period, with the promise of a safe and reliable electricity supply for many years to come. The project demonstrated the ability of Freedom Electrical to provide a ‘one-stop shop’ for cable installation and jointing.
