Freedom offers a complete solution for Underground Distribution Systems. The services we provide include full project management, route evaluation, feasibility, design, access consents, circuit installation, rebuild and refurbishment of all underground cable networks at all distribution voltages.
Underground Network Services
Design, installation and maintenance of underground and ground mounted electrical distribution assets:
- Cable installation and new connections at LV, 11kV, 20kV, 33kV, 66kV and 132kV
- Cable jointing at all distribution voltages
- Electrical ducting systems
- Rising mains
- Substation wiring
- Low voltage cut out replacements and service alterations
- Switchgear installation and link box installation

- Asset condition inspections

Substation and switchgear replacement
We have an extensive in house capability to complete substation replacements whilst handling all engineering issues including outage planning as well as the building and civil aspects to deliver a seamless service.
We also offer link box replacement. This service includes turnkey project management to replace low voltage link boxes nominated by the DNO - generally based on condition or age. The service includes a pre-visit to plan works, work management, and reinstatement of site to NRSWA standards.
