CE Electric has recently issued an extension to our LV Pole Replacement Works following continued excellent performance.

The Project started in January 2007 with an initial scope to replace 175 wood poles and 125 steel poles. To date, we have now replaced 713 wood poles and 103 steel poles, managing all areas of the works including: customer liaison, planning, outage management, traffic management and underground cable jointing.
The team are consistently rising to these challenges and hold an excellent safety record with CE having gained several top grade scores during the audits they carry out.
These works are based in CE’s Geographical Zone 1, which stretches from Durham right up to the Scottish borders where the landscape can present additional problems to the teams attempting to work on the Network.
