Freedom were working for YEDL in providing Engineering Projects under a Framework Consultancy contract providing civil design, structural engineering, quantity surveying and project management services.
We acted as project managers during the construction phase of this project supervising YEDL’s civil contractor.

The project involved construction of new replacement substation inc. switchroom, control room, 2 No. built-in Transformers with outdoor cooler compound.
The buildings were constructed in quarried stone & slated pitched roof.
The old substation was demolished & we improved access to a new site road.
