Freedom provided full civil and structural engineering design, quantity surveying and project management services on this project.

"

The site which is located in the North Yorkshire National Parks area was subject to stringent planning requirements and Freedom worked closely with the Richmond Planners to satisfy these requirements and design a building that was sympathetic to the surroundings, had the appearance of a traditional barn but still met the operational requirements of a substation.

The design incorporated an innovative intelligent rainwater harvesting system.

The structural design blends together the modern technique of a structural steel frame with traditional natural stone random rubble external walling.

Freedom provided full civil and structural engineering design, quantity surveying and project management services on this project.
